Terms of Service

Guidacle helps you discover and listen to information about points of interest using your device's location. Content is sourced from Wikipedia and other public databases, optionally enhanced by an AI model. The Service is provided "as is" — accuracy of information about specific places is not guaranteed.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Guidacle. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

The AI plan is billed monthly or annually by Paddle.com Inc. (our Merchant of Record) at the price displayed at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. See our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy for specifics.

New accounts include a free trial of the AI plan. The duration is shown when you sign up. When the trial ends, your account drops to the free tier — you keep limited features (Walk and Talk with plain Wikipedia narration) but the AI features require a paid subscription.

Do not use the Service to harass others, violate any law, infringe intellectual-property rights, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

Most Service content is sourced from Wikipedia and Wikidata under their respective licences (CC BY-SA 4.0 and CC0 1.0). When a stop is narrated, the in-app player marks the narration as AI-generated and links to the source article.

The AI features generate explanatory text and audio on the fly using large language models and text-to-speech. Generated content is provided for entertainment and educational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies.

Guidacle is a guidance aid, not a navigation system. Always pay attention to your surroundings and obey local laws. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranty and our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or for legitimate operational reasons, with reasonable notice where practical.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Guidacle is operated by KICODE AS (org.nr 937 901 143), a company registered in Norway. KICODE AS is the contracting party for these Terms; payments are processed by Paddle.com Inc. as Merchant of Record on its behalf.
